The Cavern Diver course is comprised of classroom academic sessions, field academics and exercises, open water line drills, and a minimum of 4 dives. The course provides instruction on Cavern Diving procedures, dive planning, problem solving, equipment configuration, buoyancy skills, and specialized propulsion techniques for diving in the cavern environment. This is a fun, yet challenging course! The Cavern Diver course is the foundation for cave diving and is the first in a series of courses towards the Cave Diver certification.
Certifications available from IANTD, NSS-CDS, PADI, & PSAI
A minimum of 2 days, which includes:
Classroom academics
Equipment configuration
Land line drills
A minimum of 4 dives
The student must be a minimum age of 18
Advanced Open Water or equivalent
A minimum of 25 logged dives
Student Kit (contains student manual and supplemental materials)
